The last match in the Round of 16 at Euro 2020 is coming! National teams of Ukraine and Sweden will meet at the Hampden Park stadium in Glasgow on 29 June 2021.

Blagult's win in 90 minutes is priced at 2.50 (+150 American), whereas the full-time victory of Andriy Shevchenko's team is offered with the odds of 3.12 (+212). A draw is priced at 3.25 (+225). Online bookmakers are more or less confident in Sweden’s chance of winning, that equals 35%. Ukraine is at 28%, with 37% chances of a draw.

Odds of the teams to qualify to 1/4 finals are also in favor of the Svenska: 1.78 (-128 American) against 2.11 (+111). Probability is around 55% against 45%.

Ukraine national team: recent results and statistics

Ukraine team's head coach Andriy Shevchenko scored twice against the Swedes as a forward in the last game between two sides at Euro 2012. Interestingly, Andriy Yarmolenko, who was Ukraine's most efficient forward in the group stage, assisted Shevchenko in that match 9 years ago

Coming back to this year’s tournament, The Blue and Yellow proved to be a disaster in the group stage. Young team with an average age of around 26 wasn't as fast and enduring as Andriy Shevchenko had hoped.

One of the young stars is Ruslan Malinovskyi, a Ukrainian midfielder who showed promising performance in Atalanta. He scored two goals in 217 minutes in the Italy Cup, but couldn’t score in the group stage of Euro 2020. Ruslan had his chance in the match against North Macedonia, but goalie Stole Dmitrievski kept the score 2-1 by saving a penalty kick.

We haven’t seen anything above average from Ukrainian superstar Oleksadr Zinchenko too, but there were 2 perfect goals and an assist by Roman Yaremchuk, as well as by 31-years-old Andriy Yarmolenko. I believe Ruslan Malinovskyi has a fine chance to score in the future game, because both of them already have 4 shots on target and 5 attempts to score. Also, Yaremchuk may resume his goal streak interrupted in the previous match.

Generally, we have seen a common Ukraine's football style with lots of counterattacks but little initiative. They launched only 251 attacks in the group stage, which is the second worst record of the tournament.

I think Ukraine will not win the match, but will probably score. Masterpiece shots are a forte of Andriy Shevchenko's men. Their shot accuracy (61%) is the highest at Euro, and I think that it will help them to land a ball into the net, but their slow pace will not let them sweep Sweden under the rug.

Sweden national team: recent results and statistics

Sweden has remained undefeated in the year of 2021 and keeps being the dark horse of Euro 2020. Poland was the closest to eliminating Blagult but unluckily lost that even matchup. Both of the goals were scored in counterattacks, because Sweden's defence was not as quick as it must be to contain Robert Lewandowski and his company. I think that will help Ukrainian players to score, because their style of play is similar.

Otherwise, Sweden looks much stronger than their next opponent. Major part of Sweden's success was due to Emil Forsberg. Swedish midfielder scored 3 goals out of 3 shots on target, and that's a solid result for performers in the same position. He speeds up the game and creates 3 or more goal moments in each match on average.

Sweden vs Ukraine: betting tips for Euro 2020 match

Ukraine will probably score because they are good at counterattacks and have young powerful forwards while Sweden's defence is prone to mistakes and slow. But the Swedes have fine chances to land a goal too due to their playing style: finding opportunities for fast goals, with Ukraine being vulnerable to fast-paced attacks.

Both teams to score with odds of 1.90 (-111 American)

Ruslan Malinovskyi has 4 shots on target and an assist in 224 minutes at Euro 2020. He creates space for his teammates, as well as dangerous situations for his rivals. He created 4 goal moments in the Netherlands' penalty area and 2 in the North Macedonia's. Fixture against Sweden poses a good opportunity to score his first goal.

As for Emil Forsberg, he has scored 75% of his team's goals and executed all of his shots on target. Emil is definitely the most probable man of the match for Sweden.

Ruslan Malinovskyi to score a goal at any time with the odds of 7.00 (+600 American)

Emil Forsberg to score a goal at any time with the odds of 4.50 (+350 American)
